Evri tracking statuses explained, and how to redirect an Evri parcel

Evri's tracking runs from the shop's label, through Evri's hubs and depots, to a local courier who brings it to your door. Most updates need nothing from you. The ones that do are a missed delivery, a parcel waiting at a ParcelShop, and a parcel that has sat at a hub for days.

Before Evri has it

"We're expecting it" or "The sender has told us your parcel is coming." The shop has printed a label. Evri does not have the parcel yet, so nothing can be changed. If this is all you see for a few days, ask the shop.

On the move

"We've got it" or "At our hub." Evri has scanned it in. Parcels often pass through more than one hub, and a night or two at one is normal.

"At your local depot" or "With your courier." It has reached the local courier who delivers your area. It usually comes the next delivery day.

The delivery day

"Out for delivery." It is with the courier today.

"Delivered" (often with a safe place, a neighbour, or a photo). Check the photo or the place it names first.

The ones that need you

"We tried to deliver" or a card through the door. Evri usually tries again, or the update tells you where it has been left or which ParcelShop it is going to.

"Ready to collect from a ParcelShop or locker." Take the code or ID the message asks for. Parcels are only held for a limited time.

Stuck at a hub for several days. Contact the shop: they are Evri's customer and can raise it.

How to redirect an Evri parcel

Once Evri has the parcel, the delivery message and the Evri website or app usually let the person receiving it choose:

  • An Evri ParcelShop or locker to collect from
  • A safe place at the address
  • A neighbour
  • A different day

What is offered depends on the parcel and on what the sender allows, and none of it appears before Evri has scanned the parcel in. Like Royal Mail and DPD, Evri does not let the person receiving it send the parcel to a completely different address. The Royal Mail and DPD version is here.
